Banana Nutella Swirl Bread

Here’s a healthy-ish banana Nutella bread recipe that’s moist, naturally sweetened, and made with wholesome ingredients—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or even dessert!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 2 cups of flour

  • 1/3 cup of sugar (add more for sweeter bread)

  • 1 TBSP of greek yogurt (or substitute with sour cream)

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Nutella (measure with your heart)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line two 9x5-inch loaf pans.

  2. In a large bowl or food processor, mash the bananas, then mix in the eggs, yogurt, apple sauce, and lemon juice.

  3. Stir in the flour, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Don’t overmix!

  4. Pour half the batter into the pans.

  5. Warm the Nutella in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella over the batter. Add the rest of the batter, more Nutella , then swirl with a knife or toothpick.

  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (a little Nutella is okay).

  7. Let cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes. Best enjoyed warm!
